I can’t stress you enough about how important these exercises are for your drawing hand. You don’t wanna get CTS of Tendonitis and similar stuff that will prevent you from making art or even hold a pencil.
I first saw this video… I dunno, a couple of years ago? But after seeing this it instantly became part of my daily routine. Having your wrist crap out on you because you haven’t taken care of yourself while drawing is agonizing and not fun.
Get to stretching, artist buddies.
I usually don’t reblog stuff when a post demands it of me, but I found this video to be very helpful.

Ok my wrist has been acting up a lot recently but one of these really stretched something out I could feel it pretty good and it def relieved some of the achey soreness pretty quickly actually so!!!

THAT’S GONNA SAVE MY LIFE
After, years of spending countless hours with my wrist crooked at my tablet, I -SURPRISE- have a really bad right wrist, it cracks and pops like crazy and gets really stiff.
But I followed this video ONCE, just now, and omg MY WRIST JOINT FEELS LIKE BUTTER. No cracks, pops, or stiffness, IT FEELS SO GOOD.
